Kentucky Directory of Registered Athlete Agents
The purpose of the Kentucky Directory of Registered Athlete Agents is to administer and enforce the statutory authority and to monitor the needs of the consuming public. The Division of Occupations and Professions acts as the service of process for the directory. The division staff registers all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of athlete agents. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality.

Please note that the following information must be included with your application / renewal application for registration as an athlete agent in the Commonwealth of Kentucky:
- Copy of the original $100,000 bond or malpractice insurance certificate in the amount of $100,000. You may substitute a certificate of deposit, bearer bonds, or other negotiable instruments in the amount of $100,000, if designated to the directory.
- A copy of the agent contract with the student athlete.
